History of the COMMUNITY TRAINING DEVELOPMENT CENTER - BBPLATMAS The forerunner of the establishment of Balai Besar Pengmbargar Lathan Masyaraka: actually it has existed since 1979 under the name of the Transmigration Education and Training Center (PLPI) under the Ministry of Manpower and Transmigration. Then in 1984 the Department of Manpower and Transmigration separated, and the Department of Transmigration became the Deoartemen Transmigration and Settlement of Forest Squatters, the name PLPT became the Transmigration Training Center (PUSLATRANS).

In 1997 the name PUSLATRANS changed again to the Transmigration Training Center (PUSBINLATRANS). In 2000 the Ministry of Transmigration and PPH changed its name to the Population and Mobility Administration (BAKIP), the Puslatrans work unit was lost and only reappeared after the merger of the Ministry of Manpower and Transmigration. Through the Decree of the Minister of Manpower and Transmigration of the Republic of Indonesia No. KEEP. 137/MEN/2011 The Transmigration Training Center is under the Directorate General of Development, Training and Productivity, and changed again in 2004 to become a Community Training Center.

In 2006 the name Puslatmas became the Center for the Development of Transmigration Training (BBPLK) through the Regulation of the Minister of Manpower and Transmigration of the Republic of Indonesia No. PER. 06/MEN/2006 concerning Organization and Work Procedures of Technical Implementation Units within the Ministry of Manpower and Transmigration

In 2015 the Ministry of Manpower and Transmigration separated and the Transmigration Sector merged with the Ministry of Villages, PDT and Transmigration, becoming the Community Training Development Center.
