Banjarmasin – Banjarmasin Center for Training and Empowerment of Village Communities, Disadvantaged Areas and Transmigration (BPPMDDTT) and Community Empowerment Experts (TAPM) of South Kalimantan Province initiated a meeting in order to strengthen collaboration in empowering village communities in South Kalimantan Province, Friday, 1/ 03/2024, at the South Kalimantan Province P3MD Secretariat.

Present at the coordination meeting was the Head of BPPMDDTT Banjarmasin, Ahmad Syahir and his staff, the South Kalimantan Province TAPM Coordinator, Yassiana Damhudie and his staff, as well as the TAPM Districts throughout South Kalimantan, the South Kalimantan Province Community and Village Empowerment Service (PMD).

The meeting is intended to discuss patterns of coordination and collaboration in community empowerment that can increase community independence, participation and ability in managing and developing their resources in a sustainable manner.

BPPMDDTT Banjarmasin has the task and function of carrying out human resource training and empowering village communities, disadvantaged areas and transmigration. Meanwhile, TAPM of South Kalimantan Province has a role as a driving force for the implementation of assistance, development and empowerment by jointly discussing concepts and strategies for empowering village communities in realizing the Ministry of Villages, Development of Disadvantaged Regions and Transmigration programs.

Therefore, as two organizations under the auspices of the Ministry of Villages, Development of Disadvantaged Regions and Transmigration, it is appropriate to move together to support the achievement of the Ministry's goals.
On this occasion, Ahmad Syahir said that in empowering village communities, collaboration between various stakeholders is very necessary. The right pattern of synergy in community empowerment can determine the success of achieving shared goals.

On the same occasion, the South Kalimantan Province TAPM Coordinator, Yassiana, welcomed the presence of the Head of the Banjarmasin Center and his staff. According to him, this is a positive initiative in maintaining harmony in the implementation of community empowerment.
