The Provincial Government (Pemprov) of South Kalimantan (Kalsel) through the Community and Village Empowerment Service (PMD) continues to strive to provide guidance and supervision of villages, one of which is by developing Appropriate Technology Service Posts (Posyantek).

Head of the South Kalimantan Province PMD Service, Faried Fakhmansyah, through the Head of the Rural Area Development Division of the PMD Service, Masrai Zulzai Subkhinejar, said that exploration and inventory of innovation potential and village innovators in creating and developing their technological works could be carried out through the TTG Innovation competition.

The 2024 TTG Innovation Competition carries the theme "Supporting Priority Use of Village Funds in 2024" and takes place 6-8 March 2024 at the Royal Jelita Hotel, Banjarmasin.

This competition activity was attended by 11 regencies/cities and 1 sub-district throughout South Kalimantan Province involving three judges from the Professional Assistance Staff (TPP) of South Kalimantan Province, the Training and Empowerment Center for Village Communities, Disadvantaged Areas and Transmigration (BPPMDDTT) Banjarmasin, as well as Lambung Mangkurat University, Banjarmasin.

"The TTG Innovation Competition is a strategic step in providing encouragement and motivation as well as an attraction for every Posyantek to continue to innovate so that technological works can be mapped out which can later provide benefits in answering problems that exist in the village," said Masrai at the opening of the TTG Innovation Competition at the level South Kalimantan Province, in Banjarmasin, Wednesday (06/03).

Masrai hopes that from the TTG Competition, every work produced and contested can be developed sustainably for the benefit of the village community.
